All right, some of you may have noticed the CPU errors we've been getting at MoGu--growing pains for a growing site! I have recoded the whole site to straight code instead of using the CMS I was using--not because it was a buggy CMS, but because I can't afford my own server, which is what the CMS deserved! they have tower sharing agreements and your phone is telling you which
tower you are actually using. If you like you can seem edit to read the
plmn_table from the Sim Card - SEEM 0032_0001 offset 4B - bit 6: Alpha

I've
reflashed with a flash that supports it but I still don't have the
multiple letter phonebook search
Go to phonebook
press menu goto setup and set the search method to "find"
I've got bootloader 7.D0 on my
phone how do I upgrade it and should I do so?
To upgrade it you simply flash with the newer bootloader.
However this will prevent you restoring backups with Flashbackup and
also undertaking some of the more "advanced" mods. There is no benefit
whatsoever to upgrading - I recommend you stick with 7.D0

Go to initial setup and turn off

Go to the time and date menu. Turn off
autoupdate. Click on the time display, move to the right and move up /
down to set as required. Exit and set autoupdate back on if required.

battery seems to die quickly or does not charge fully
Run the phone till
it goes dead, remove the battery for at least 5 minutes, replace the
battery and charge overnight with the phone off.

I deleted a skin - but it still shows up in the
skins menu - what do I do?
Use p2k commander to
recreate the skin folder. This must be exactly the same name as the
menu entry (case sensitive), then delete the folder and restart the
phone.
If you cannot
connect with p2k programs remove the sim card and start the phone up -
hopefully you can now connect - if so copy the skin onto the phone then
use motokit to do a master reset.
If that
doesn't work start in bootloader (hold # and * while turning the phone
on) and flex your phone

Use a p2k program to
delete the a/websession file and restart the phone.

do I delete individual entries that are marked as locked?
Use p2k advanced editor - under the
websession section, click read from phone, mark each session as
editable and deleteable as required, click write to phone. Restart the
phone and delete the unwanted sessions from the phone

What is the mib_op_greet
file?
It's the browser splash screen and be be
deleted if you wish
Where
is the phonebook stored?
If in phone memory
in the DL_DMH_File - however backup / restore is not so simple as just
transferring this file. Either use MPT or p2kTools to backup and
restore your phone book or store them on the SIM card
